ICT Film Projects

This video shows the perfect example of "participation" of young people in their provision. Ballycastle Drop-in centre is a centre managed by and delivered by the local young people of the area.

feelings about the centre.

The Young people from the Glebside community
association in the summer of 2007 carried out a video
project cataloguing the events that go on in their
community and highlighting how important it is to them.

This video gives an example of Rural Youth Provision.

In a community where options are limited compared to young people in more urban areas, the Local youth club funded by the NEELB provides an extra and much needs creative, recreational and developmental outlet for the local young people as they attest to it in this film.

Newtownabbey Youth Exchange carry out regular
exchanges with a variety of partners across Europe,
this is their 2007 programme.

In 2005 two groups of young people from Sunlea ICT Suite and Sunlea Youth Centre came together to turn an area of wasteland at the Sunlea site into a new community space. ICT looked after the 3D design and the film evaluation, while the Youth Centres young people made the vision a reality.

This project was the first winner of Northern Ireland
Youth Awards - innovative category 2005.

It's June 2008 and the young people from Sunlea Centre take a closer look at rubbish and waste and the impact it is having on their local area and the environment.
