MS Society Ben Nevis Weekend Challenge

FacebookChallenge yourself to take on the MS Society Ben Nevis Challenge. When the weather is good the views from the top of 'Heaven Mountain' of the Western Isles of Scotland are truly spectacular.

Over the weekend the emphasis will be very much about fun. Our group will walk the popular tourist path up and down the mountain and we expect the walk to take up to 8 hours (5 hrs up and 3 down).

As the maximum gradient is just 1:5 any reasonably fit and active person should have no problem making it to the summit and down again - after the obligatory glass of champagne of course.

Places are limited so call now to register your place or to receive further details. Tel: 028 9080 2802 or email vgraham@mssocietyni.co.uk

Cycle Vietnam 2010

Cycle Vietnam 2010Children in Crossfire have sourced a fantastic cycling challenge in Vietnam which will take place from 6th -16th April 2010. This 11 day trip will take in some of the most stunning scenery that Vietnam has to offer; visit sites of historical significance; and give you the chance to meet rural Vietnamese living a way of life that has hardly changed for centuries.

Vietnam is an amazing country, full of amazing landscape, ranging from unspoilt beaches along the coastline; to cooler mountainous regions where traditional hill tribe people continue to live.

The cycle will allow you to experience the vibrant, colourful, cultural and historical aspects of Vietnam. The people of Vietnam are extremely welcoming and you will have the opportunity to stay in a traditional H'Mong and Thai hill tribe house, meeting the family and local villagers. You will also visit vibrant markets and tour fascinating museums, giving you a better understanding of the Vietnamese culture and history.

The cycle will be an unforgettable and life changing experience.

The sponsorship raised will help Children in Crossfire projects in Tanzania and Ethiopia where we are currently co-ordinating twelve projects.

To reserve your place, please send £250.00 deposit to the Children in Crossfire office.

We are asking participants to raise a minimum sponsorship. The money raised will cover flights, accommodation, food, insurance and a bike.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact the Children in Crossfire office on 028 7126 9898 or e-mail events@childrenincrossfire.org or visit www.cyclevietnam2010.com.
